WMU Mission Study of Russia

WMU Mission Study

Russia

Tuesday, February 20th at 6pm in the CLC

By meeting its goal for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Williamston First Baptist is helping share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in places where most of us will never go.  One of those places is Russia.  Come and learn things about Russia, its people, and how God is using our missionaries to spread the Gospel to Muslims living in Russia.  This study will be taught by Rev. Mike Baker, Director of Missions for the Palmetto Baptist Association.

In the meantime, be much in prayer for our missionaries all over the world, specially those in Russia.  Pray that God will keep them healthy and safe and guide them as they seek His will in their mission efforts.  Pray that He will give the Muslims receptive hearts to hear the Word of God.  Pray for Mike as he prepares to lead us in this study.  Pray for WFB that we will continue to give generously to support missionaries worldwide.

Bring all of your family members - husbands and children - and friends.  You will not have to worry about preparing dinner, as WMU members will provide it for you - we may even have a few Russian dishes for you to try.  Sign up early so we know how much food to prepare.  There will be sign up sheets on the WMU table in the old fellowship hall and we will have them available on Sunday morning to get with your bulletin.  Turn your forms in to any of the following ladies, Anne Bell, Mary Anne Bunton, Gail Crowe, Misty Moore or Gail Strickland.
